Embroidery for Hotel and Private-Label Bathrobes
Robenexa supports computerized embroidery for hotel, spa, wholesale, promotional and private-label bathrobe programs. Embroidery can be developed for terry, waffle, fleece, satin and other confirmed bathrobe fabrics, but the file setup and stitch structure must suit the selected material.
A logo that works on smooth satin may require adjustment when applied to thick terry loops or deep fleece pile. Fabric thickness, surface texture, logo size, stitch coverage and placement all affect the finished appearance, embroidery cost and production time.
Before quotation, buyers should provide the original logo artwork, required dimensions, preferred position, thread colors, order quantity and selected bathrobe style. The logo should not be evaluated separately from the garment specification.
Artwork and Embroidery File Preparation
Preferred artwork includes a clear vector file or high-resolution reference. The production team reviews the logo shape, lettering, small details, intended embroidery dimensions and number of thread colors before preparing the embroidery file.
Very small lettering, thin lines and closely spaced details may not reproduce clearly in thread. These elements may need to be simplified, enlarged or adjusted while keeping the approved brand appearance. Any change should be shown to the buyer before sample embroidery.
The artwork review should confirm:
- Finished logo width and height
- Embroidery position
- Thread colors
- Letter and line clarity
- Stitch coverage
- Orientation on the garment
- Required quantity
A digital embroidery preview can help check the layout, but the final decision should be based on a physical sample stitched onto the selected bathrobe fabric.
Logo Size, Position and Fabric Compatibility
Common embroidery positions include the chest, back, sleeve, pocket or other buyer-specified areas. Position measurements should be taken from fixed garment points so placement remains consistent across sizes.
Chest embroidery is often suitable for hotel and spa robes, while larger back embroidery may require greater stitch coverage and production time. Pocket embroidery must be reviewed against pocket dimensions and attachment sequence. If embroidery is completed before pocket assembly, the production specification should record the approved position on the pocket component.
Terry loops and fleece pile can reduce the visibility of fine logo details. Stabilizing materials and suitable stitch settings may be required to control the fabric during embroidery. Satin requires careful handling because dense stitching can cause puckering or visible needle marks.
The selected fabric and GSM should be confirmed through Fabric and GSM Options before final embroidery approval.
Embroidery Sample Approval
A physical embroidery sample should be reviewed for:
- Logo dimensions
- Position and orientation
- Thread-color accuracy
- Letter clarity
- Stitch coverage
- Fabric puckering
- Loose or skipped stitches
- Backing and reverse-side appearance
- Overall compatibility with the bathrobe
The sample may be prepared as a fabric swatch, a logo panel or a complete bathrobe, depending on the development stage. A complete garment sample is recommended when position, size and overall presentation are important.
Standard samples normally take 5–10 days. More detailed artwork, new fabric, multiple thread colors or construction changes may extend sampling to approximately 10–15 days.
Bulk Embroidery and Quality Control
Bulk embroidery begins after the artwork, embroidery file, thread colors, dimensions, position and sample are approved. Embroidery placement is set according to the confirmed garment measurements and size range.
During production, checks cover logo position, thread color, stitch appearance, lettering, fabric distortion and consistency between garments. Finished robes are reviewed again after sewing and finishing. The manufacturing stages are explained on our Embroidery and Branding page.
MOQ, Cost and Quotation Details
Standard bathrobe programs usually start at around 300–500 pieces per style. More extensive fabric, color, branding or packaging customization may require approximately 800–1,500 pieces.
Embroidery cost is affected by logo size, stitch count, thread colors, fabric type, position and order quantity. Buyers should send the bathrobe style, fabric, GSM, size range, quantity, artwork, logo dimensions, position, thread colors, labels, packaging and destination.
